It is not as derailed as the flip 6, but a nudge up in power, remarkable. Easy to connect and easy to operate. Also has the app for your phone. The sound, battery life and touch features definitely have that higher quality feeling i was looking for.
I am amazed how much umph and grunt such a compact unit can produce. All are great. Excellent bass and treble response.
Super durable. Waterproof is nice for poolside music. Golfed 27 holes (over 6 hours) and not a problem.
Cons
Good speakers but execution is poor in terms of features functionality. App to control speakers is good in concept but poor in execution, it is slow glitchy and often fickle to use.

Very fair, if not, really good price.
Competitiveness
But at more than twice the price, i could buy 2 of these and pair them together.
Slightly more expensive so you just have to decide if you want to give up the smaller size for a bit more umph.

However the advertised jbl connect app which should allow for both party boost i think that’s what the multi link feature is called and the eq does not detect any jbl devices even though they are all connected to bluetooth perfectly fine

It does overheat if it’s in direct sunlight after about an hour or so though
