With the gain properly adjusted, these things really sound great.
It’s really good choice for sound quality & money.
I liked that the quality is jbl, and matched the impedance of the original, so that no changes in quality were noticed.
Good quality speaker easy to install, i am not sure if it is the vehicle's radio but it sounds like it needs to be adjusted for car.

Good speaker set should have check spec's on manufactures website before buying these are only 60watt rms speakers not 120.

Setting the treble control on the head unit to more than 75 of the range only make it worst with too much treble

I noticed the stamping on the frame indicates the impedance is 2 ohm

To my surprise it doesn’t carry any 2 ohm speakers

On the crutchfield page i found this 2 ohm jbl speakers but according to the service rep this model has been discontinued so i couldn’t order them

Replacing the stock speakers is not too bad the most difficult part is drilling 4 new holes into the metal of the doors so the jbl speakers and the plastic adapter plates came with the speakers can be mounted

The stock speaker was mostly upper bass and mid range the overall sound was muddy
