My ear canal is small but the exterior is average so the medium fits perfectly. They are really comfortable and don't irritate my ears. But i do like not having to dry my ears out when in scummy water.
We need earplugs that have the ability to equalize for these sports. I like that protruding hook that anchors to your ear.
These stay right in place while be thrashed around. I have duck dove a few 6 to 8'waves after being caught inside right in the impact zone. Have yet to do a dive without them.

The product description only refers to the hoop part being a different size. No chance for dive your head more than few seconds. Just to small. No size chart.

I have a 4:35 static breath hold and i couldn't eq past 20 ft.
One caveat - they do dampen the noise so unless you're speaking loudly, hearing a soft spoken person is hard.

I typically have difficulty equalizing especially after the first dive i normally have to descend at a much slower rate than others

It seems like these plugs act as a buffer slowing the rate that felt pressure increases while descending

For surfing and bodysurfing tie a thin string through the hydroseals so you don’t lose them no earplug can go without safety string while surfing
