Pros & Cons
Pros
Active noise canceling is amazing. The noise cancelation are pretty good if you want it for that.
The over-ear design of the headphones, coupled with plush cushioning, ensures hours of comfortable listening. The combination of cushioned ear cups and an adjustable headband ensures a snug fit that doesn't compromise on comfort.
My max rating is 4 to offset vendor chicanery. I find them to be easy to clean/keep tidy and new looking.
I like the equalizer through the app, and how straightforward these are. I run ios, and the range is also as expected. You get the boosted lows, somewhat recessed mids and boosted highs.
The jbl live 660nc headphones offer an impressive audio experience wrapped in a comfortable and intuitive design. I run a topping e50 and l50 stack, and i almost feel like they turned into a completely different headphone with a wired connection.
Cons
I'm aware with bluetooth there is an expected drop in quality, but the drop is farther than headphones a quarter of their price. The only thing that fixed it(for now) is completely unpairing and repairing. When i use the google assistant, the sound of... Read More
Sounded like a blown out subwoofer. Anc is just okay. If you turn the vol up to max you get a lot of bass distortion.
The ear cups are too small and the headband is extremely tight. The headphones are extremely uncomfortable - like wearing a vice. The earpieces are also too small.
Highlights
Quality
They are comfortable, the sound quality is great, they are user friendly and easily connect to whatever device i want to use them with.
The sound and bass quality is excellent and as expected for jbl.
I bought these to replace my airpods but the quality isn’t as good.
Quality is lost with using bluetooth so don’t expect that perfect audio sound.
Price
I wanted a pair of headphones that sounded great, but didn't cost hundreds of dollars.
They’re okay, not really worth the price.
Packaging/appearance
Was looking for a good set of headphones that didn’t break the bank.
I suspect though that they would eventually adjust as the band is metal under the very nice cloth weaved headband.
Competitiveness
They feel more sturdy than my sony’s as well.
Treat my 4-star review like a 5-star review.
These headphones are not advertised as hi res and this is why they don't perform as well as my soundcore q30s in the higher frequency.
I've mainly seen these compared to the soundcore q30 (which i bought and returned), and folks seem to generally lean towards so... Read More
