Construction quality is good, and i have had this set up for several weeks.
Excellent boom and excellent punch to suit your bass style.
I had to use a voltmeter to adjust the amp power setting so that i wouldnt blow out the sub as it is a 250w set up.
Needed a replacement for a bazooka subwoofer 8" in my car that has been working for 12 years that gave out.

Given that the bazooka sub included built in amplifier decision was to either spend more time to plan out a new subwoofer setup or replace it with another built in amplifier

There is some research that is needed if setting up volumesensuring good power supplymounting that is needed
