The turntable is well made and really easy to set up.
This turntable is made with good quality, good looks, built in pre amp, bluetooth capability, but a manual start and stop.
Power switch is on the back, but that doesn't really bother me.
Despite this, the design is commendable, and the quality is very nice.
Price
The price at $399 seems a bit high though, considering the cartridge/stylus offered.
Packaging/appearance
I like the look of this turntable; it's classic.
It looks great in my living room!
Competitiveness
I just upgraded from "suitcase record player" and the difference between it and the jbl spinner and just night and day.

Its designed to be an entrylevel turntable for people new to record collecting and its actually the first turntable jbl has ever produced which surprised me

We are not new to records or to jbl audio technology since we are both in our 50s but we have hung onto our record collections for decades and havent had a turntable to play them on in many years

The dust cover fits tightly which is important since we have pets and we dont want pet hair getting in there

It has a builtin amp but somewhere around here i still have my old pioneer amp from the 80s so will eventually switch that internal amp off theres a switch on the back and give my old one a try
