Pros
Jbl bluetooth speaker has excellent sound, it is clear, has great base and range. I use it on my laptop and the sounds are just incredible good.
Great little speaker. There’s a distinctive - + on front. Highly recommend it. It's a terrific value. Would still recommend.
The actual clip mechanism itself seems sturdier, and larger too. It is small, but i like how it has a d-ring and that i can take it in the shower. And super easy to clip to your belt loop or backpack strap.
The power button the clip 4 is directly on the side and pushes very easy. Wish they were activated on long presses like most other devices.
Cons
Throwing this away. It has way less battery and no indicator on how much battery is left. When plugged in, it automatically stops charging shortly afterwards.
It sounds awful rattling against a hard surface. It's not the robust design i needed for mountain biking, hiking and snowboarding. Crackling sound and low tweeter levels and zero bass.

Sound quality is above what expected in fact sound quality is amazing.
The sound quality is great, its loud for the size, and the waterproofing is amazing.
Sound quality is surprisingly good for a small device.
Other than that, the sound quality is fine.
Packaging/appearance
The durability overall is pretty good, however, the rubber feet on the back easily peels off.
Competitiveness
I have tried other bluetooth speakers but my jbl is a giant step above similarly priced competitors i have used.
I might actually prefer the sound to that of my megaboom 3 which is more than twice the price and 8x the size!

The clip 4 shuts off as early as 5 hours fully charged

It also had a flap for the charging port for the waterproof factor and ghe clip 4 does not

This causes several accidental offon or switching the unit to pairing mode
