With the first cd played (the files were transposed mp3's at max sampling size), the music did not sound good.

Apart from the smaller jbl's i also have two ultimate ears boom 2.
This is a portable speaker but unlike smaller jbl's it can not be charged from a usb power pack.

I want to give this 5 stars for great sound and build quality but i was really disappointed when i unboxed it to find that it only charges on a 19v laptop style 230v mains power adapter

Without reading instructions in my view is part of the test to see how well designed the product is for the consumer if the custoner didnt have to read the instructions i tried to top up the battery charge by plugging in the cable which came with jbl flip 4 and charger 3
