Pros & Cons
Pros
Head pressure is great and still has plenty of power leftover. Currently using around 43 watts and absolutely silent. Aside from being powerful and adjustable, the pump is also pretty quiet.
They work flawlessly, so far so good uknow. I was in dire straits, needed something cheap/fast, and jebao came through. Love the pause feature for water changes. My first choice now.
I have them both running two separate sumps (20 gallon longs) that filter a 75 gallon and a 40 gallon tank.
Cons
Tried plugging into multiple outlets and same thing. The 2nd one was obviously dropped and shipped anyway. In either case the seller is now not responding and i am currently out $230.
The impeller casing and pump body is being held together very weakly. It has a hairline crack in the main case right in front of the impeller. The worst part is even at full strength, as i lose water to evaporation (which only shows in the final secti... Read More
Manual is hard to decipher, really the english is on preschool level. Now i'm stressing them dying and have to go buy a new pump.
Water then pours over the weir making a splashing noise. If i top off the water slightly higher than where the level was originally set the pump pushes more water and i get a slurping down the emergency drain.
Highlights
Quality
Great quality time day to assemble and ultra quiet!
Super easy to use install and super quite.
With the stand cabinet closed i can still hear the dct hum even with the lowest setting.
At full power my overflows can't keep up with the volume this pumps out.
Price
Over power a little and save energy cost!
Wasn’t bad enough to keep it from working.
Packaging/appearance
One improvement that should be made is how the power plugs into the controller/display.
Competitiveness
I replaced my stock pump in a fluval 32 tank with this unit.
Big fan of jebao return pumps for years .
Saving at least 20$ a month over a comparable 120v pond pumpjebao please make a pond version !
I use it to mix a 44g fresh water bin and a 32g salt bin (plumbed together with pvc and ball valves) for our mixed reef aquariu... Read More

Well i went through three of these pumps before realizing jebao’s factory implementation doesn’t work as an external pump… it leaks out the rotating front housing that’s protected by a 212” oring with a 116” width

I ordered 18” width gaskets but they were too large and i couldn’t get the front fitting to attach to the pump body

Then i tried the original gasket with…
