When i first opened the box i did not hold out much hope as the filter felt quite cheap and not very well made and it was much bigger than i anticipated

This only comes with a media sponge for second stage filtration and i fiund a sponge designed for thid model on ebay

Arrived within the delivery dates and fixed up with a couple of teething problems as the instructions are not that clear

Also the tap valves themselves are extremely tight so i was pumping away and nothing was flowing throughagain after exhausting myself through pumping i eventually managed to turn both taps and water flowed in the chamber then i switched on and guess what silence

Make sure you fix all the pipework correctly before priming the pump
