Pros

Good pump, affordable price. Aqualink s1 controller plus rw-4p is almost same price as this one but infinitive more flexible. Very fast shipping.

Great wave feauture and capability to master and * multiple units together. Setup is easy. Lots of options to mess with. This thing is a beast.

The pump also has 5 wave modes. Convenient feeding button to pause the pumps for feeding or maintenance. When held down for a few seconds can out the pump into feed mode.

Cons

Not only is this irritating because it’s been less than a year but as i mentioned on the higher settings the pump is extremely loud and with both pumps the flow is higher than i would like. If i have to replace the controller every 6 months it becomes... Read More

Thank you to amazon for refunding my order. Downfall, last exactly 1 year then like all electronics, just stopped working. Stay away from it. Warranty is only 6 months.

Competitiveness

I have had this running in my 28g nano reef tank now over 3 months.

This pump has alot of features that the other more expensive pumps have for a fraction of the cost.

I added this wave maker to the back of my jbj nano-cube 28g, placing it so it points across the back of the tank.

Wish it could drop down to the 420 gph range.
