Pros

Boots are nice quality and decently lightweight. I assume i will need to put a coating on the exterior to protect against salt. The ankle height from the shaft is right where you can tuck in your jeans or leggings.

These fit comfortably on all counts. They have a decent toe box width which works well with my wider feet.

I think it looks a tad different because the picture shows it shiny. They look just as pictured, no tricks here.

The lining is soft and friendly to the skin, and the insole is cushioned.

They have a nice decorative buckle on the outside in a little bit elastic banding. The elastic ribbing and the buckles add a nice quality look to the boot. If you make an extra hole to buckle it, it works fine.

Cons

Shoe fit great but as soon as i stood on them or took a step the heal collapses. It's was embarrassing to have to try and glue the shoe back together. Got home 2 hrs later and they look all wrinkled up and already need polishing.

I am glad i read some other reviews before purchasing this boot, it did run a little big especially with the ankles.

Each boot had a foam insert to prevent the boots getting deformed in shipping.

Packaging/appearance

They have a lot of padding in the footbed and that is perfect, and i think most boots should come like that anyways.

It is comfortable right out of the box.

Competitiveness

I normally have to buy a "known" brand of shoes, but these are made equally as well and cost half the price.

The boots are made of high-quality synthetic leather and the craftsmanship is top-notch.
