This case works great and is compatible with my ipad air 4th generation. This cover keeps my ipad in place snugly. Fits my ipad and has a place for the pencil.

The case has an elastic band to hold it closed

The included hand strap is elastic so when not in use it sits almost flush to the front of the case the side of the screen

One little down let is the apple pencil holder is very tight and is not the easiest to remove from the case but not impossible

I had previously bought a case with a keyboard for my ipad which i love but it’s always so heavy so i wanted something that was lighter and thinner even if it wouldn’t hold the keyboard

It even has a small pocket to stick small notes inside as well as 2 straps to help you hold the ipad in any orientation

I had bought another one even though description said it was for ipad pro 11 it was not so this was second choice and not only does it fit it’s better quality case only thing which we would have made it better would be patterns not just black but already it has stickers on it to make it pop
