On the top there is a large overhang that affects the functionality of touch id. On the bottom there is practically zero overhang and therefore no protection from bumps. Not really that safe with kids around.

Been using this thing for a few weeks now i can say that the build quality is fantastic.
Fits like a glove, solidly stays in place, protects and looks very nice.
Like everything about the case, but don't know at this point if it will last for a long time.
This cover has magnetic connection to the cover when folded to the back.

As others mentioned its a bit too big which makes it difficult to use touch id at times

Whether the pencil is present or not the extra flap gives the extra security that covers for older models didnt offer
