The magnetic hold is good, i can take it off easily and it stands up well.
As you can see, the flap is magnetised so that it attaches to the outer cover and inside cover; it does not dangle (thankfully).
It shuts off when you shot the cover.

For £12 this is an excellent case.
Good value for money and nicely designed with decent magnets.
I cheaped out on this instead of buying the offical apple folio.
For the price, i can’t really fault it.

This item is just as good as the £70 apple case.

This lightest care in opening the cover should be enough

Although magnetic this does not mean that you can reorientate the ipad to a portraitvertical position the magnets are aligned so that the ipad can only be attached in a horizontal position

However for the sake of security even if psychological i would have considered a traditional plastic not silicon which gets sticky over time device holder with the pvcleather cover with pencil flap

However the size is a tad bigger than the ipad mini and the fingerprint sensor on the power botton is slightly difficult to touch
