Then i popped the guide over the top of the phone and used the polishing cloth to press it down

I did find that placing it slowly from top of the phone to the bottom of the phone and rubbing it into place with the cloth means that there are no air bubbles caught between the screen and the protector

Even better it was simple to lift back up from a corner using a fingernail if you do get an air bubble so that you can release it
