Its for the 5g antenna and the case isnt made of a material that will not affect it in any meaningful way

The case also doesnt add any unnecessary bulk to the phone as the bezels are on the thinner side

However while the soft touch silicone is silky smooth to the touch and comfortable to hold there is no texture or any form of grip whatsoever so i did have issues with the phone sliding around in my hands when doing long gaming sessions or watching videos
