Pros & Cons
Pros
Rubbery material has a nice feel that does not snag the puzzle pieces. Easy to re-roll around a pool-noodle-type tube, keeping the completed parts intact. Comes with three straps to secure it shut, and a carrying case.
The mat is well made and of quality materials, as are the trays. While the sorting trays are not like using the plastic stacking type, they are more than sufficient for use with the mat. The snap up baskets are a great addition!
This mat is perfection and huge! Perfect for 2000-3000 piece puzzles, depending on dimensions of the puzzle. It is much bigger and heavier than i thought it would be.
Shopped many puzzles keepers and decided on this one. I was so excited about this puzzle mat.
I love that we can safely move our puzzle in whatever state of completion it is. When i don't have a puzzle going, i leave the mat down for tidier activities like diamond painting and coloring.
Cons
Serious letdown. Rolling up the puzzle bends some of the the pieces. That defeats the purpose of the mat for me.
Highlights
Quality
This is well made, thick durable material that will last.
It is nice and good quality and very handy when doing puzzles over a period of time.
Also, many of the puzzles i’ve been assembling lately are made of wood and have dust and debris that become embedded in my felt mat.
This 3,000 piece puzzle mat is made of the same material as a mouse pad and it is a very large.
Shipping
However, holidays come so quickly we had such a difficult time moving the puzzle to not ruin all her work.
Packaging/appearance
Wrapped nicely around a pool noodle, the snap-able trays and mat wrap nicely and store away with ease when not in use.
The roll up mat came with six sorting containers that lay flat until you snap them together.
I currently have a puzzle that was nowhere near done but done enough that i didn't want to put it back in the box unfinished.
Competitiveness
I looked and looked and compared, this seemed to be the best deal without breaking the bank of grandma.
