Pros

The problem was resolved very quickly, far exceeded our expectation. Great communication from seller is a bonus.

The pickle kit comes with everything to guarantee successful fermentation. Fermenting an apple with beets combination with mustard seeds and pepper corns. Fermented some peppers as well as kombucha.

Lids are airtight without any pressure. This allows the snout to be pushed in and pushes gasket out. Do not overfill the valve. Silicone gaskets fit jars well, and the airlock is tight.

Cons

The lids fit inconsistently from one to another. The grommets that go into the lids to hold the airlocks are not airtight. It’s is nothing coming into the airlock but rather around the lid.
