Sturdy and durable for sure thick and will last. It is sturdy enough to handle a few loaves at a time. So useful for scraping the flour from the bowl to ensure everything is incorporated. The handle on this is wonderful!

The part of the handle you hold is a hollow cylindrical piece of metal that connects onto the inner handle piece. That hollow connected piece has sharp edges top and bottom that can easily cut you.

While i liked the feel of the wood the whisk eventually became detached from the wooden handle with both of them
