Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a brotpisker, also known as danish dough whisk. Just right for mixing sourdough starter. No more dry clumps. Great for nonstick cookware.
I highly recommend it, it is well constructed, and performs as it should. Skip the wooden handled versions out there.
Cons
The part of the handle you hold is a hollow cylindrical piece of metal that connects onto the inner handle piece. That hollow connected piece has sharp edges top and bottom that can easily cut you.
Highlights
Quality
Seems expensive, until you feel the quality of it.
The shorter, weighted handle makes it easier to use, and he is very happy with the item.
Seller was prompt in responding to my concern with the product.
Bought the one with the silicone handle also, thinking would be easier to grip, but returning that one.
Competitiveness
It mixes everything so easily, the wire doesn’t bog down or get overloaded with batter, and it cleans up in a jiff.
Good stout item, really blends stiff batters like a champ.
