Pros

Great explanation of different book leveling programs. It lays out the value of reading to your child. Back is filled with old titles and new, with meaningful summaries.


Cons

Jim's warm and grandfatherly voice is gone. Rogers was replaced by binky the clown. The book lists seem preachy and one-side; this is not the book i remember. This was advertised as jim trelease's read aloud handbook.
