The batteries drop down below the top and can't be removed without turning the box upside down and then all of the batteries either fall out or drop down inside the case. This is assuming that you did fill it with batteries.

Very organized and sturdy for your aa and aaa size batteries.
This case is extremely well-built, and works like a charm.
The battery tester, however, is very terrible.
It never gives me 3-lamp indicator for my fully charged nimh batteries, only a maximum of 2-lamps.

The power estimator works fine and the whole concept and execution is fine but i wish the wells where you put in the batteries went all the way to the bottom

The holes are positioned too close together and when its full i cant get my fingers on either side of the battery to pick it up
