Pros & Cons
Pros
It's very well made, and cushy as can be. Very sturdy and good value for money. I travelled internationally last week; no issues.
Nikkor 200-500 telephoto lens fits well but it’s big in order to fit the hood. Case is perfect size for my olympus 100-400 zoom lens with lens foot attached.
This is a decent quality, budget friendly carrier that protects its contents very well. The padding is nice and thick, so i feel like it will be safe in it. Made with durable materials.
Excellent case to carry my tamron 150-600 lense securely and safely. Fits very snug in 6ii. Handy mesh pouch on the led is for holding small extra's or lens cap.
L is ii usm lens like a glove! E ed vr lens fits very nicely in this jjc dlp-7ii case. Dlp | vr | f1 | f2 | f4 | f5 | f6 | f7 | f8.
Cons
La base no está bien protegida.
Highlights
Quality
Along with the hood and mounting ring.
This feels like a high quality case.
I sprayed it with silicon water guard for added protection so i don't really have experience with the factory water resistance.
This might be a good thing though because you might be able to store the lens with the hood on (flipped backwards).
Packaging/appearance
Now i just leave the hood attached & pointing out, collapse the zoom, twist the lock ring, dunk the beastie inside, zip it up & go.
Competitiveness
I am using this to store a 500mm lens.
Solid protection for my nikon 200-500mm lens at a reasonable price.

The biggest pouch in the amazon basics 4pouch set is a bit too small for my 100400mm f4

If i drop it the hood can absorb extra frontimpact energy while the touch of air space around the lens allows for its heavily padded fabric to squish deform instead of immediately transferring force to the lens barrel

The few times this has fallen out of my bag have been from about 3 feet1 meter in height during each it has simply plopped onto the floor with a reassuringly pillowlike sound light bounce rather than the frightfully dull thud i witnessed when i bumped the amazon pouch while merely sitting on a table it lurched over onto its side from no height whatsoever

Water resistance is a little lacking but only because the kinda tight fit of the 100400 makes the zipper prone to not quiiiiite closing entirely

A skinny carabiner through the zipper pulls lock holes would take care of that in no time however
