The string that comes with the lens cap is made of some extremely frictionless material that will not hold a knot so i had to replace it with knottier string but otherwise this is a tiptop solution to lost lenscap misery

The lanyard itself seems to be sturdy enough and has a good length to it but it doesnt quite reach around my lenshood and then back onto the socket

Really good fit on the lens probably wouldnt even need the string as im confident it would stay on the camera
