Some people complain that the lens hood blocks a portion of the optical viewfinder. It's very subtle but noticeable in most daylight conditions.
This fits on my x100s. Clicked in place just perfectly.
Cons
This product fits loosely on my x100s. It interferes with the ovf and the flash which detracts from the general usability. The issue is that you can see the whole hood when looking through the viewfinder of the camera.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this item, especially for the reasonable price.
It serves the same purpose though so i am pleased with the purchase.
There seems to be something wrong with the hood that i received.
It doesn't seem to be a good fit with the adapter.

Solid product and the price was very reasonable, no one stocks this hood locally so amazon is logical place to look
Looks great and the price is the best part of it!
More importantly, the price is about 1/5th of the price of the fuji oem lens hood.

To install the grip one needs to take the outer ring off the lens

I found it came off easily by using a small rubber sheet about 3 x 3 we keep in the kitchen for opening stubborn jar lids
