Pros

Ball-head is well made and locks securely. Ideal for use with a mono-pod to capture stills or rapid video movement. Slide in locking base with a built in level that is quite secure.

These are amazing ballheads, just not as amazing as i had hoped. Snap in quick release. It works very well, the level is helpful and it has a quick release button.

It is small enough to keep the setup nimble. It’s small and compact enough to carry around. The photos make it look bigger.

Cons

Could not possibly be more dissatisfied with this. Very disappointing. This is misleading information.

Threw it in the trash. Waste of money. Honestly this thing is a piece of *. This is the same problem i have experienced with cheap knockoffs. This issue really needs to be resolved.

Quality

I bought this to use as a base for the hohem isteady pro 4.

I have a bunch of these joby tripods with the same ballhead thought it would be good.

Wish it came with a good quality phone mount.

Competitiveness

I personally use this guy with a neewer metal phone mount which has a ball head to swivel the phone in any direction/orientation i want.

I still need to purchase the ball joint, but i purchased this to use for a trip where i will use a canon sx720 hs.

I have both the joby gorillapod 1k and much larger and sturdier 5k.
