Pros & Cons
Pros
This works great as a minimalist lightweight tripod. It's extremely durable and versatile in its stances. Sits in the pocket very well, lightweight and sturdy.
Can plant this in any surface and can contort to any angle. Im a cyclist and use it to capture videos and pictures. If you like taking great photos next to a waterfall or getting the best angle for that overlook, this is your piece of equipment.
Cons
The head uses elastic bands, which will eventually break when stretched that much. Four out of five times, the phone falls out of the arrangement and lands on our hardwood floor. The phone clip barely fit my phone even without a case.
Highlights
Quality
Sits in the pocket very well, lightweight and sturdy.
Best to use without a cast on your phone the design can be heard to release with a thicker case.
This barely held my samsung galaxy s8, and the bungee could be a little bit longer to accommodate that.
You also have to learn how to use this tripod, as there was a constant lean on my camera bc how tight the cord was holding on to my camera.
Price
It's great and cheaper on here than in stores.
Still, for the price and how well it worked originally, i decided to buy a replacement.
Competitiveness
I saw the youtube video comparing all the gorilla pods by joby.
