I bought the smaller version with the magnets, but it didn't grip well once i put an iphone 7s plus w/ a case on it.

At first i was disappointed with how loose the head was with the screw tightened down.

Competitiveness

Works great for my sony rx100 iii.

Good for say a cell phone but if you're using a mirrorless camera, go ahead and buy the larger gorillapod and skip on this one.
