It does seem to be very well made, operates smoothly, 1/4 x 20 standard tripod screw (that also screwed in smoothly).

It is sturdy, and can assist when you need to be low to the ground and stable.

It is made of aluminum and the ball head is aluminum as well.

It looks like it has to be attached rather permanently and need screwdriver to take off.

It should be cheaper for the size or i would have given 5 stars.
