I ordered this as lighter alternative to velbon sherpa tripod.
Instead i had lighter ones including couple different size of joby gorillas but i wanted little higher.

The tripod is sturdy enough but to get it to stand the unlockinglocking mechanism would prefer an actually lock than twisting the top to unlocklock cause it ends up being a bit annoying to play around with to ensure it’s not going to drop

Plus i had to extend it fully in order to be able to get the tripod to stand stable then adjust the poles to the correct height

Don’t know if there are others at the price point for a quality stand the next one i was looking at was double the price so for the price point vs the hassle of the functionality i can live with
