Old one had a flat bed so you could cut the cheese without removing it, but it probably added to the bed cracking.
I just unwrap the cheese, pop it in this, and it keeps the cheese from getting hard.

You dont have to wrap the cheese in plastic or foil you just put the pieces inside the container and snap the lid closed

It took a long time to find one that fits a normal bar of cheese and to replace a similar old tupperware pod that had cracks
