Ill start with the downsides which are really minor gripesthe mallet included is a silly little wooden toy with no heft whatsoever but most people shouldnt require a mallet for snapping the pieces together anyway

The plastic sheets for lining the cube bottoms are extremely thin plastic

You would get better results using pieces of particle board or even dense cardboard

I did not use the mallet provided it’s basically junk and i don’t think it’s necessary

The only complaints were that two of the grids had one wire that wasnt attached and the plastic sheets that came with the shelf were very flimsy

This was easy enough to assemble though i did not follow the standard layout and had to buy extra connectors

It came with a wooden hammer but found just using my hands was more then enough to get the pieces to click together
