Pros

As someone who grew up in the 60's with cake eyeliner this is a godsend! I appreciate that the seller has fast service as well. This product is so good that i have completely ditched my pen eyeliner.

The color & pigment is great. It's fine for me since brown was what i looked for but if you're looking for darker than brown, this is not the one.

The liner itself works well, though i sometimes need to go over the line twice to get even color. I've used this with an angled brush and a sponge applicator - it's very forgiving, as a cake liner should be.

Cons

The cake is not a solid/hard cake compact but more powder like to the touch, like an eyeshadow. It's like oil sludge. It crumbles off my eyelid. Quite a mess in addition to being worthless.

Pricey but you’ll only buy it once because it holds up to being cleaned thoroughly with alcohol.

I like it better than any cake eye liner i've ever used, and i've been lining my eyes since 1964.

They are identical except that the visage is $5 cheaper and lacks the jolie imprint on the lid.

The cost is in line with other cake liners i've used.
