Pros
Really insulate your hands and wrists from the heat. Gloves are longer than some gloves out there so they protect your wrist. Much easier than using a towel or conventional oven mits.
These gloves are perfect for using with the * and also for the barbeque. For retrieving hot meat off the grill, they are super! Use them to pull a pork * off the grill or a turkey out of the roasting pan.
Cons
The gloves get really hot at only 400 degrees. They are only acceptable for the shortest of uses, otherwise they start to conduct heat into your hands and you get burned. There is no insulation so they got very warm inside. Adverts show them being use... Read More
Should have bought the type with jersey gloves as a liner. These are very big in the hand part (not fingers part) and cumbersome. This is especially a problem when the gloves are greasy from handling food.

The only time i felt the heat was from holding my cast iron pan for a couple of minutes coming off my grill

As to the cleaning all the bumps means you have to use a brush to properly clean them

I have to cut the meat with a knife and hold the seasoning container but its too thick to move
