For a company to notice an offhanded message and offer to cover gear under warranty is pretty much unheard of anymore.
I mentioned this set, said it was great for us when we started, and noted that the paddle i used had started to fall apart.

Great for beginners and the right price!
It was a great way to get everything we needed in one shot and the price was right for us, not knowing if we'd stick with it.
Nothing to dislike, although i wish it was a little cheaper.
The paddle set was inexpensive and i didn't expect it to last forever.

I have since picked up other entry-level paddles and recently upgraded to a really nice brand-name paddle.

A representative from joncaye happened to be in that group and told me that they offer a one year warranty and if i provided the details the company would replace the paddle that failed

After a few short private messages that appears to be in process and i believe they are sending a replacement
