The 36 jorgensen bar * offer ease of use, great clamping pressure, and heavy-duty construction. They seem to work with a different mechanism than the bessey and ehoma *. These adjust much smoother and they seem less susceptible to glue/gunk gumming up... Read More

Cons

The tag that comes with the new * states that they have a limited lifetime warranty. That tells me these are a knockoff. The original jorgensens were great *—these made in china models are complete junk.

The clamp jaws are not a single piece. This translates to significantly less clamping power. They are not parallel and do not clamp evenly.

The threaded rod binds before the clamp is tightly set. The jaw just continues to slide until it runs out of clamping room against the stop. Either way, not good. Jammed in fully closed position.
