Seemed like a good value for the price.
Packaging/appearance
The plane was packaged well and felt like a good-quality tool in my hand.
I removed the plane from the box, was getting ready for a greasy mess and sharpening plane was clean, no rust, no globs of grease.
Came out of the box as advertised.
Right out the box, i was able to get some pretty darn good shavings.
Competitiveness
I have jorgensen clamps that i love and this small planer lives up to the quality of their brand.
You can spend a lot more money, but you can't get any better results.
I’d like to try a higher quality plane in the future, but this is far better than the garage sale craftsman plane i had.
