Pros & Cons
Pros
This implies the jaw move forward a bit. I solve this problem by using a clamp (as pictured) that holds the door down to the bar of the clamp.
Cons
Came in deplorable shape. Plastic bags two of these clams were shipped in shows a careless attitude toward shipping. The other two are now late; who knows if they will arrive.
Highlights
Quality
Best ones i have used, and i have been working with this type of clamp for over 20 years
Great performance but useability weakness nets four star from me.
While these clamps don't take much maintenance, i have applied a drop of oil from time to time -- always to the screws.
I stared at that broken clamp for about a month.
Price
Hopefully they will go on sale again so i can get some more
Shipping
I recieved a personal reply for a customer service representative saying they were shipping me parts to repair my clamps within an hour.
I recieved the parts yesterday, about a week later, have installed them.
Packaging/appearance
I just received these with the jaws jammed closed, i knew about this, but they were really jammed!
Competitiveness
I'm very happy that i won't likely break another clamp head.

The new rubberized handles are way better for torquing the clamp over the older wood grips
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
I have both and there is no way you can get the torque on the wood that you can get with the rubber

I have the 4834 versions but for smaller frames they were too large

This means that you get even pressure over the surface of the clamp

With many clamps youre guaranteed to get a small pressure head these offer a large face of the clamp
