Pros

The size and weight and strength of the components are in between but closer to the hf version than to the original jorgensen, which is disappointing. The handles on the new ones are a little harder on your hands due to some lettering embedded in the ... Read More

Cons

The clamp jaws are not a single piece. This translates to significantly less clamping power. Not square and not adjustable. They are not parallel and do not clamp evenly.

Sellers are dumping defective product on amazon. That tells me these are a knockoff. Save yourself money and get a better product by buying the real thing.

The bar clamp was stuck, would not move. The word jorgensen is in quotes on the clamp. Jammed in fully closed position. Recommend never fully closing clamp.

The flat even clamping surfaces allow to you clamp glued you boards flat with out warping.

Packaging/appearance

The care in packaging, the clamping pressure, the ease of sliding the head back and forth on the rail…i’m a fanboy og jorgensen clamps now.

The box was so heavy i thought they had doubled my order.

Competitiveness

They release so much easier than the irwin clamps of the same design, oh well.

The jorgensen clamp head mechanism definitely slides along the bar smoother and easier than the red and black brand that starts with b.

Jorgensen is the best on the market.
