I dont see replacement blades for sale on amazon even though theyre mentioned in the product pictures i dont know that ill need them anytime soon and at this price i may as well just buy another whole plane but it would be nice to have them available to reduce waste

Ive already used it multiple times for a cabinet project that needed minor adjustments where an edge router would have been overkill and a hand plan wouldnt have fit properly

I think i would have preferred it to be fully metal but thats not really a huge issue for me

In fact i think if the body of the tool were metal then it would ruin the use and lead to fatigue with prolonged use

They dont really show you or tell you but these are mostly used to strip paint or smooth out filler material
