Tried to change out bits to find shaft detent non existent and will not lock shaft at all. Tossed in trash. Attachments are brittle pot-metal.

I bought this tool after my dremel brand grinder burned up after a short usage.

Go out and buy an accessory set for the "d" brand, as it has useable accessories that don't break immediately.
