This is the best garlic press ever, and i have used a lot of them.
The plastic one broke after a number of uses.
You just peel the garlic and mash them with this tool and all of the garlic goes through not alike the clamp type garlic presses.
Price
Great value, easy to use and clean.
Anyway 6 years is a good run for a $10 gadget.
I got the icky-colored green one for only $6 (the prettier ones cost more).

Ive tried the classic garlic crusher both cheap and more expensive and they work well you dont have to peel the garlic cloves before using them but they are a real pain to clean and sometimes big cloves dont get completely crushed

I tried the roller type but was not impressed gave up on it after maybe 3 tries

I have no trouble peeling garlic whether using a tube like the scroll or just lightly crushing with a knife or bench scraper
