The only reason for this replacement is the plastic inside the previous bowl has worn away from constant use and despite cleaning looks like its dirty

I had no idea there was even such a thing as a washing up bowl with its own drain

Be aware that you will need to remove this plug and clean the screw thread from time to time as it can become a bit of a dirt and grease trap
