Pros & Cons
Pros
Rolling out dough to uniform thickness has always been challenging. This rolling pin is a game changer!
Cons
The pine dowel is also wide but because it's only 1 inch in diameter it’s harder to not accidentally roll too thin in parts. Needed a circle capability of 15 inches.
The sizer rolling pen is not smooth at all. No matter how chilled my dough is, how much flour i use, it tears up my dough. If i don't put a lot of flour on my dough it will stick to the pin.
Highlights
Quality
I was very pleased with the quality.
Very high quality and works extremely well.
Upon opening it, my husband realized two of the spacers were mismarked with the incorrect depth.
Somehow at least one of them always manages to roll the dough way too thin and has to redo it, often with the same result.
Packaging/appearance
I just for this yesterday night (1/21/23) and as soon as i opened it i already noticed the inside packaging was ripped and then... Read More
It’s a bit long, but i took off the sizers and not it easily goes into the drawer.
Competitiveness
I scored it at a low, low price of $6.
I'd just reccomend purchasing new to avoid missing pieces.
