The bamboo itself is very smooth and dries very quickly when compared to other wooden chopping boards i have. The chop2pot folding design is better than the plastic chopping boards which tend to lose its ability to remain as a flat surface.
The silicon hinge makes it easy to slide chopped ingredients into pots and pans. This makes it great to chop and put whatever you have chopped into the pan without anything dropping out. It works beautifully, even really annoying veg like spring onion... Read More
Bamboo is lovely and hard wearing and the innovative design is fab. Excellent size, neat and attractive. The bamboo itself is attractive and feels strong and hardy. It also looks nice.
It has a slightly blurred look now which is really attractive. The hinge is still sturdy and flexible and the stains have gone.
It cleans up well too. The only downside is that it can't be soaked or put in a dishwasher. The bamboo oil protects the board from drying out. It also extends the life of the board if oiled regularly.

All in all, a very good product.
I've had zero issues with the joint in the middle.
It's a lovely quality but i expect the hinge on this one to go the same way after a year or so.
Those chopping board seems to be good quality and worth the couple of extra pennies.

My one concern is that bamboo appears to burn slightly easier than my tougher chopping boards i left a hot saucepan on the board and it has scorched

The instructions warn the user to cut across the join not along it which seems a sensible precaution

The board has a silicone hinge so that when it is in use it is perfectly flat and when you have finished using it just fold it together making a channel for the crumbs or other food to slide down directly into the bin
