Plastic garlic press clean tool attached to handle makes cleaning holes extremely easy. One squeeze of handle and your garlic is minced. It's easy to use & clean. It cleans easily and it doesn't take up much room.

You can force it , it handles 2-3 cloves at once, garlic doesn't get pushed back through the sides, cleaning is unbelievably easy.

And, i was wrong, i'm extremely happy with this thing and i do believe it's worth the premium price.
We've tried about 5 different types of garlic presses over the years - mostly the shiny metal ones that cost under $10.
But that’s just the price you pay for oodles and oodles of delicious fresh garlic.
I mean it's definitely pretty expensive for what it is, and it looks like it's made of a cheap plastic.
Packaging/appearance
Product listing says it is dishwasher safe… packaging says hand wash….
