The lids are difficult to take off but i found that if you go to the left of the lid cover lip they will come right off

Didnt overload them followed the directions to wait 24 hours before adding the containers middle of the night they came crashing down making a ridiculous mess

One end hangs on a top shelf and the other end has a strip of adhesive that sticks to the bottom on that shelf
