It has been cleverly designed to include a rest which means that the part of the utensil that will be in contact with the food does not touch a work surface when not in use however for the expensive price tag i think i will stay with the extra plate to be washed up instead

I bought the original elevate set with rotating stand from joseph joseph a few years ago when i saw it on offer at my local department store

That being said i did accidentally melt a groove into the handle of one of the utensils that i accidentally left in the pot whilst on the stove

Were it not for my minor booboo with the old range that was entirely my fault i would not have questioned the handle’s heat resistance

The texture of the handle is now smooth as opposed to the nodulestrewn upper and lower surfaces of the handle
