Raised edges help retain juices and textured surfaces hold food securely for chopping. Each board is easy accesible and has a handle to get it out.
A slatted bottom makes for easy cleaning. The case allows air to circulate to keep the boards from retaining moisture. They wash easily in the dishwasher.
Love these boards. They are worth every penny. Very clever.
Slimline case is tiered for easy board selection and well-spaced for good airing. Well worth the upgrade, can't recommend it enough. These have replaced my cheap thin flexible plastic ikea chopping boards, which scratch very easily.
Cons
After one wash they are warped. The non slip feet are a bit hit and miss. The boards warp after going in the dishwasher.

Be aware that if you’re knives are super sharpe you’ll get long marks on each board

Much better than the tabbed versions which we had before and killed in the dishwasher
